We looked around and found a lot of devices made of elastic bands wrapped all around and said no, that's not that! Underworks Vulvar Varicose Support Briefs are made to be highly effective in relieving pain and reducing symptoms associated with vaginal swelling. Also known as vulvar varicose veins, they are varicose veins present on the outer surface of the female genitalia (vulva). Occurs most often during pregnancy. As a result, blood stagnates in the veins of the lower extremities and in the vulvar region causing vulvar varicose veins or lymphedema. This brief features two overlapping bands that run through the pubic area, providing compression and relief from vulvar swelling and overlapping exactly where a pelvic support base is created at the bottom. This helps relieve prolapse such as cystocele (when the bladder protrudes into the vagina creating a bulge), the rectocele (when the rectum protrudes into the back wall of the vagina) and uterine prolapse (when the uterus descends into the vagina). Maybe if I had a flat stomach they would fit better. **Q: How well does this work for supporting a stage 3 Cystocele Bladder prolapse? Constantly pushing it back in is not working for me!** A: It’s not a cure but I feel much more secure wearing these. It fits snuggly against you so you don’t feel that bulge and seems, to me at least, to prevent it from dropping more. **Q: in wearing these do you still wear your Depends?** A: I have a 3-4 stage prolapsed bladder but have absolutely no symptoms including no need for a pad or Depends.
