Fit Perfect without any adjustments needed. Hardest part was getting stock exhaust out as I did it on my back. Once all hangers are off it is easier to jack up the rear a few inches to fish it out from axle. I won't talk too much about sound as that is subjective. Is it louder than stock...yesWill it wake the neighbors...nahSound like a V8...nopeSound like a ricer....nadaWill it drown out stereo at half volume...NoSatisfying to stomp on it to get around that A-hole in the morning commute...oh yeah

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect exhaust to improve your performance
*by J***B on April 29, 2020*

It really brought my truck to life. Before my truck was sluggish. Now it has no restriction and is able to get up to speed! The sound is great six months later it is even better I don’t hear any drone noise which is a lot of aftermarket exhaust complaints

### ⭐⭐⭐ Sounds like it should be on a racetrack

I was not very familiar with MBRP but chose to purchase this exhaust for my Canyon because other Cat-Back systems from brands I recognized were nearly twice the price. The exhaust arrived as scheduled in a large box. The pipes were separated with padding and the exhaust tip was wrapped and packaged in a smaller box. There was a small dent in the front pipe but this didn’t matter because I have the short bed truck and the dent was in the part of the pipe that would be cut off. I borrowed an exhaust cutting tool from a local auto parts store to make the cut.I chose to paint the exhaust black before installing it with high temperature paint. I doubt the paint will have any significant impact except it looks cool, and may provide additional protection against weathering. The stock exhaust came off easily. I didn’t lift the truck and sliding underneath was the most difficult part of the job. The two factory bolts came off easily, and using an adjustable pipe wrench I was able to remove the hangers from the rubber isolators. Removing the factory exhaust took me about 40 minutes.Installing the MBRP system was very simple. I installed the front pipe and the rear pipe first, and then slid the muffler in between. It was a tight fit and I did have to force the two pipes out in order to separate them enough to install the muffler. During this battle to install the muffler I dinged the rear pipe, and scratched the muffler. My black system now has a couple of shiny places where the metal shows through the paint. This would have been easily avoided if I would have had another person help with that part of the installation. After tightening everything up and installing the exhaust tip it was time to fire it up and hear how it sounds. The truck seemed to idle fast, calming down to normal after about 15 seconds. I assume the computer needed to adjust to the new part. I had to cure the paint by running the vehicle for set amounts of time before I could go for a test drive. The first drive was to the auto parts store to return the pipe cutter. As I was pulling out my neighbor stuck his head out and yelled that it sounded good. He had to yell because the exhaust is quite a bit louder than the stock system, which is probably why the neighbor knew I had installed a new exhaust. The sound is louder than I would like it to be while driving slowly. If the engine engages to propel the vehicle even a little bit you can hear it in the cab. However, I don’t notice the sound at cruising speeds. The exhaust system really screams when accelerating quickly and the truck sounds like it should be on a race track.I haven’t had it on long enough to determine if there is a change in fuel economy, but I can tell a difference in torque. The rear tires are easy to spin if I floor it from a stop. It also seems to have better acceleration overall. This was installed on a 2015 GMC Canyon, short box, 4wd, with the All-Terrain package. I also installed a K&N air filter into the factory box. Don’t have the cash right now for a cold air intake.
