Ingredients are good quality, no weird chemicals or preservatives. I purchased the original flavor and it has a very strong lemon taste. So if you don't like lemon, I'd say avoid this. I think it gives the hummus a good zip.Nice to have on hand for a light snack with veggies or crackers. Also good for spreading on a sandwich. I'd buy it again! I ordered these when I could not find my favorite brand, (Tribe). Veggicopia makes a super great product. It is fresh, all natural, no stabilizers added. It tastes like my homemade hummus. I cannot comment on the red pepper variety, only on the original. I love salt, and my sodium runs low, so I added Braggs Aminos, but for the general population, Veggicopia's hummus is not overly salty. I'll be ordering more and will also try their snack package of olives.
