This LED model features include a specially designed condenser and illuminator lens, a rechargeable battery with a life of approximately 1,000 charges that provides 50-70 hours of use per charge, and the ability to use the microscope even when it is charging.The body is made of die-cast aluminum with a rubber-footed stand. The easy and accurate rack and pinion focusing features lever type fine focusing. A slip clutch mechanism is built into the coarse focusing knob to prevent gear damage from over-powered turning.The stage measures 110mm x 120mm. The specially designed, spring loaded stage clamps are locked on to provide steady and simple change-overs between specimen slides.This microscope measures 14" in height and weights just 7 lbs.
