Sure its a higher investment. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I am very happy that I spent the majority of the money on these over the rok add on soft close. Eventually I will be replacing those doors with these blum hinges but I figured it wasn't so bad to put the cheaper ones on the less used doors for now. This item here is a GREAT hinge after about 1 month of use.
