With its unique, patented design (U.S. Patent No. 10081019), this sluice box incorporates innovative features that streamline the process of capturing fine gold. Thanks to its expandable length, it adapts easily to various conditions and setups, providing flexibility to adjust to the flow rate and size of any creek, river, or stream, whether you’re working in a narrow, shallow stream or a fast-moving river.Key to its performance are the Hungarian-style riffles and deep V riffles that increase gold-capturing efficiency. These riffles generate strategic turbulence, separating gold from lighter materials and ensuring that precious particles settle into secure zones, while the rugged miner's moss traps even the smallest gold particles for maximum recovery. This layer of miner’s moss, renowned for its durability and effectiveness, enhances the box’s capturing power, providing a high-quality filtration layer that holds fine gold as water flows over it.Portable, lightweight, and easy to set up, the Sluice Fox Expandable Sluice Box is designed to fit comfortably into backpacks and most vehicles, making it an excellent companion for gold prospectors on the move. Its patented design, U.S. Patent No. 10081019, not only enhances gold recovery but also ensures durability to withstand rough terrain and consistent exposure to water. This sluice box is a prime addition to any gold panning kit or prospecting setup, designed for efficiency and resilience. With the Sluice Fox Portable Expandable Sluice Box, you’re equipped with an innovative, reliable tool to make the most out of every gold panning excursion. Review: better the expected - This sluice Fox is amazing. Its my first sluice but I did a lot of research on how to set and run a sluice box. one and a half hours of sluicing and came up with 60 to 70 tiny flakes of flour gold. this thing catches everything!! I tested all my tailings and didn't find one spec of gold. once you have it set right, all there is to do is feed it gold! super easy to do a clean out takes maybe 10 to 15 mins tops. and the fact that it catches the flour gold is perfect since that's about all we have in my state. Don't make the mistake in passing on this sluice. It also fits in my hiking backpack no problem. I read reviews saying you need to use 1/4 or smaller classifer, FALSE!!! I use 1/2 that came with my pan and this sluice has no problem running, just have to have it set right!! for this price what do you have to lose? Buy IT!! ## Features - Sluice Fox gold sluice with flare - This gold sluice box Can be Used as a Stand-Alone Sluice Box Unit, or connect multiple gold sluice box modules to customize to your needs. - High Impact resistant plastic construction - Connect Multiple Units Together End-To-End or Side-To-Side to Create Your Ideal Tool. - Born near historic Keyesville, CA, our goal at SluiceFox is to utilize cutting edge materials and manufacturing techniques along with the knowledge base from hundreds of years of placer mining in order to re-invent the tools we use. The fox is light weight and compact but not to small that it can't take a shovel full of dirt. Easily fits in a large pack or just carry with you. NOW A WARNING TO YOU ALL! This was not forged in the mountains of mordor by Dwarfs its plastic, very strong plastic but it may not line up perfectly. But with some know how and a heat gun you can fix any misalignment. These miner imperfections won't stop you from finding gold plus you paid half of what a big sluice cost so settle down. Now as for the riffle clips a lot of folks seem to be having trouble with getting them out. By holding each side of the sluice just above the clips and pulling outword (see picture) they'll come right out and if you do some how brake the clamp Amazon has replacement ones. Over all this is a good little sluice. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sluice Fox Portable Expandable Sluice Box for Gold Mining and Prospecting; Includes Miner's Moss, Hungarian Style riffles, and deep V riffles.
