When the Astor blades, red box, were introduced I thought I would give them a try. Costing less than the yellow Bic blade I was leery. I watched some of the reviews on this newer blade and everyone seem to think that they gave a pretty good shave and lasted as long as the Chrome coated Bic. After using in one of my milder vintage Gillette Pre-War razors I must say it gave a pretty reasonable shave. Now I will use it in a couple of other razors to compare.
