I was surprised when I received the item how short it was. For my use it worked but until I received the item I did not know. Most items of this type come from China, need I say more. I hope that the tool worked for you even though it is way shorter than listed. **Q: In some of the pictures this tool has a hole drilled in it for a keyring and others it does not. Does this tool have a keyring hole?** A: Received mine today (November 6, 2020 and it does have a hole drilled in the upper end) **Q: I have a broken valve core which tool i can use to get it out?** A: This tool will work. The small size and the knurled barrel makes it very handy to use, especially inside a motorcycle rim or other small tires. It's made well, not some flimsy aluminum or plastic that is going to get chewed up quickly, this thing is going to last a while. It's size is also it's weakness, in that the small size makes it easy to lose, too, as others have mentioned. The only improvement I would like to see is a small hole for a lanyard or key ring, it would be perfect to keep on a key chain. I won't let that stop me from recommending it though.
