I'm 5'1" and as it is, the footrest is too low and doesn't offer the support I need. I have used a small rolled up towel in between the sections and that helps, but an additional piece would have been great. **Q: Will this help my feet from swelling?** A: It will help some. Very comfortable and elevates the feet **Q: Do the 2 pieces come completely apart if needed? And do the 2 pieces zipper together or velcro together?** A: The 2 pieces zip together- front and back. The velcro is on the corners, and they keep it nicely together, but easy to pull apart.
