Packs easily, the dry bag is a nice touch. Been out a few times in the calm waters of the Dee and had no probs paddling upstream and upwind too! I’ve also got an itiwit 3man high pressure job and this is just as good… it’s much easier to control when you’re on your own and it’s perfectly spacious enough for two people. Really impressed by it! It's very manoeuvrable and can be ready or packed away in under 5 mins. The only but is the footrest. I feel it is just too close to the seat and your knees are quite upright. I am 5'10 and cannot move the seat further back as there is no more adjustment on the back rest. I ended up modding extra length on the footrest straps to get it to where it is comfortable. It's got self bailing scupper plugs and a drop stitched floor so can't see a problem in the ocean.. if its an inflatable kayak you need or want then the steam is your best bet for your needs unless you want to pay more money and get a full dropstiched inflatable **Q: Can I put 4in thick foam block below the seat to raise if for my bad back?** A: Hi, the seat bottom is attached by Velcro strips. The strips are on the deck & underneath the seat. You would need to attach Velcro to the blocks in order to hold the seat in position. There are straps on both sides of the seat, front & rear but I doubt the seat would be stable without the Velcro. Also 4 inches is quite high & might effect stability.
