Great shoes, I love them. Wear them every summer, take them on holiday. Comfy, versatile, light, great grip and can be worn in the sea. Dry very quickly and easy to clean. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly.But then, this year I tried to order the exact same style of hurricane drift, in "birch". I ordered the same size, UK 7 / US 9 (I am usually a UK 7.5, wide foot). The new birch pair arrived, with the same size markings as the blue pair I already own, on both the tags and stamped into the base of the shoe. The style is identical. But this birch pair is noticeably smaller than my blue pair, by approx 1 size. It's a shame because the birch colour is nice, but I have had to return them. I would say the birch pair is more suitable for a size 6 - 6.5, and the blue size 7 pair are for a size 7.5. I walk the dog across fields, on the beach and around the park. These shoes are great, wet dew on the grass, no problem, sea water, no problem, just runs off and dries quickly. I bought the cream which are lovely and I’m going to buy a darker pair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fab shoes but slightly odd sizing *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 July 2025* I was looking for a lightweight waterproof shoe to wear to the beach that would be comfortable enough to walk in (on pavements/concrete etc.) but also easy to clean and take on and off at the beach. These sandals are fab, they are seriously lightweight, it's like wearing a cloud! They are comfortable to walk around in, I wore them for a whole day with no blisters or sore spots. Giving them a 4 star only because the sizing is weird. I had read reviews saying they come up big, so I bought a whole size down (size 5, I am normally a UK 6). The size 5 fits perfectly, however there is a slight weird gap to the right of my big toe. Almost like they designed the toe strap to be placed too far forward on the shoe.. However, it has not affected the comfort or fit of the shoe and they stay on well and are still nice to wear.
