I went with the purple and green, of which the green is less a bright lime green and more of a soft olive (disappointingly, as I wanted lime green).The assembly was easy — just look at the pictures. The wooden pieces are sturdy and don’t look cheap. Definitely utilize the foam pads for the part that touches the wall — I didn’t put them on at first and could hear it squeaking and scratching the wall when my cat would get on and off the perch.My house has peculiar windows so this works perfectly with the window open or closed (but I would have to remove the perch to open or close the window) but this may not work well with all windows.My cat took to it immediately and gets up there on his own.
