Continually disconnects during use. Sound is ok. Hate that it doesn't work like I had hoped, but having to constantly reconnect it is just to much of a bother.UPDATE: I was contacted by Avantree almost immediately about my review. Please note that they reached out to me, I didn't contact them. They offered to exchange the unit or take it back. They also suggested I try a reset using the instructions on the provided link. We did the reset this morning and now this unit works beautifully. We've had it on in the house for several hours listening to music and making phone calls. It has stayed connected without any problems at all. Avantree has excellent customer service. Their emails to me were friendly and helpful. I will be doing business with this compay in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Initial disappointment but Avantree Stepped Up *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2019* I bought the 10BS but was disappointed by the sound quality, and also that it seems to lack a voice-activated answering capability.Since I never requested a replacement unit I do not know whether the sound quality issue I experienced is a general problem with this model, or whether I just got a defective one. Maybe it was just my unit, since other reviewers rated it higher.In response to the problems I posted here Avantree sent me a free CK11 model, which I guess is the newer version. It is slightly larger than the 10BS, works well, and I like it. But I am unable to post a review since I did not order it through Amazon.So I will say here that based on my individual experience I would get the CK11 rather than the 10BS. I definitely give the CK11 4 stars. Reliable auto-on function; an actual volume control knob, which doubles as a multi-function button; decent sound quality for phone calls. It does not auto-answer, but it does announce the incoming caller's name (based on your contact list); reaching up to press the large button to answer can easily be done without taking your eyes off the road. And a button press connects you to your phone's voice command for calling out. And it has a removable/replaceable battery, which I just like on general principles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Replaces Bluetooth stereo that died. *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2018* I really like that I can command my Android phone with the push of one button. I don't even need to say, "Okay, Google." I can make calls, send texts, get directions. I don't know if it can read texts as I don't mess with that while I'm driving, but I can dictate a quick text to tell someone I'm running late. It's easier to use than the installed stereo it replaces. I bought a different device that I had to return because it was made to use your stereo to broadcast your calls.My kids like to watch brainpop while I'm driving. They usually Bluetooth for sound. I wish it was a bit louder for that purpose, but that's really not what it was designed for.I can't attest to the battery life as I just keep it plugged in to the car charger all the time.It does have one quirk, it has a long range for its Bluetooth. If I forget to turn off the Bluetooth on my phone, I can't hear anything on my phone and sometimes even in stores until I turn off the Bluetooth.The speaker quality is good for its purpose. If you want Bose speaker quality I'd recommend buying Bose speakers (does Bose even make car speakers? They're what I have in my home.) However for simple conversation and listening to audiobooks it's fine.
