You must blindly connect the electric and ground wires then guide two screws through 2 1/2 inches of insulation into the two screw holes. It took my son and I five tries to get this far only to discover the screws were not long enough for the nut/cap.If you decide to buy this anyway, get screws 1/4 inch longer than the ones included. Have a washer or regular nut handy if needed to hold it tight against the ceiling. Draw a pencil line on the ceiling by aligning a straight edge with the two screws and do the same on the edge of the fixture. That will get you close. This is a two person jobNote that the shade is NOT vanilla - not like the photo at all.
