Not for turntables.
Fine for CD players and other high output devices, but I got horrible hum when using these with my Technics turntable. My table has RCA jacks on back, instead of built in cables, so when I read that these were shielded, I assumed, wrongly, they'd be good for turntables. Yes, my table has a ground wire, which was connected to the ground post on my receiver. Problem was solved by using another set of cheap cables.

Better than run of the mill cables.
I’m no audio snob but I do try to buy decent cables that offer better shielding than some run of the mill cables. These seem to do the trick and are far from expensive.

The wires are thin
The wires are thin but they still do their job. I havent had a problem out of them. I needed subwoofer wires long enough to reach 20 ft and i found these cables on amazon and bought them. And Im not disappointed in them except they are not a thick enough gauge for my liking. The thicker the wire the better they are to carry the sound
