I just don’t like and don’t want anything amber there?** A: You do not have to use the amber light. When you install the lights you will have one connector for low beam and one connector for high beam. You will then have two wires, one for the amber and one for the white. If you don’t connecy any of these you will only have low and high beams without any halo. From there you can decide what you want to do with the amber or white halo. For example if you tap the white halo wire in the daytime running light circuit you will have a white halo running light. Alternatively (like I did) you can have the amber wire connected as a drl. If you plug the white halo as daytime running light and you tap the amber halo in your turn signals you can also run both simultaneously. The white halo will be on when it receives power, and when there is power to the amber wire then the amber will overlap the white. In this configuration the halo will be white, thurn amber when you use the turn signals and automatically turn back to white halo when there is no voltage to the amber halo wire. I hope this helps. In a nutshell nothing forces you to use the amber. **Q: how do i wire the day time running lights?** A: Run a wire from your keyed terminals in the dash and cknnect to the yellow wires on these headlights. Not a real DRL but they turn on when the vehicle is on which is enough. **Q: Will these be available again keep checking back and always unavailable?** A: They are available now **Q: How is the brightness compared to stock (hi & low beam)? Also how does the color and area of illumination compare (and is it evenly distributed )?** A: It’s way brighter. Not comparable with stock halogen. The cutoff is pretty crisp too. The light color I would say is close to a 6000k.
