I needed a lamp that was higher than my computer monitor and this was the only one that I could find, most of the other lamps were about the height of the monitor or lower which would block the monitor. The only comment I have is that the base is a lot bigger than expected, meaning that it does take up quite a bit of space on the table. If you have a reasonable amount of table space, then that's not an issue, but if you have a small table, you may want to think twice about it. I guess because the lamp is so tall that it needs a fairly large base to support the weight and height of the lamp. I also like the fact that it has 5 levels of brightness and can change the colour from cool white to warm yellow. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Trully Great Light *by A***W on Reviewed in the United States on October 3, 2017* A truly great light! It can move on five pivots allowing a customized light pattern for most anyone. The base is properly weighted to disallow a top heavy issue and you have a USB plug-in at the rear for, whatever! Also don't let the 8 watt label fool you; this is not your grandparent's lamp. The led is bright and you may toggle between warm glow or bright white. I have the same model number as shown here and there are five light settings but those are between the minimum and the maximum, giving you seven different settings!A great light with features I enjoy.
