## Questions & Answers

**Q: With this work with a 3 inch lap?**
A: No

**Q: is this mount compatible with the ring floodlight (solar)?**
A: I only have wired Ring cameras and lights. But the mounting block pictured seems to be a standard electrical box. If solar floodlight can use a standard electrical box then it should work

**Q: Will this work on Dutch lap siding**
A: No. Get this instead, Arlington 8171 UV Rated Plastic Surface (Vertical) Mount Dutch Lap Siding Mounting Kit With Built-in Box 6-5/8 Inch Width x 6-5/8 Inch Height.

**Q: What's the difference between this and the Arlington 8141?**
A: The imbaprice 8141 IA a hexagon style send the Arlington 8142 is more rectangular and covers 2 sections of siding as apposed to the 1 section that the imb does. I had to modify mine to accommodate the sensor box on the motion detector lights I mounted.
