You produce the sound in the horn, the horn will amplify it in a way.The quality is pretty low, not well finished, has the shape of a banana, crappy plastic. The mouth piece is made almost like your playing a trumpet and you need to get your lips just right to make it sound out , it makes your lips go numb blowing it hard so it requires to much breath for me .
