Wows so well. - I used this to restore my travertine floor in my laundry room. The floor is travertine tile and had been severely etched by urine-soaked doggie wee-wee pads that I had put on the floor prior to washing. There wasn't much of the floor that hadn't been etched by the urine and I had been leaving urine-soaked pads on the floor over the last ten years. I was in a bit of a panic when the floor wouldn't hold a satin finish shine, and I could see tons of etch circles all over. There was so much damage, I couldn't rub the etching out by hand. Actually, with the amount of damage, there was no way the etching could be manually buffed out. I used my husband's "Meguiar's MT300 Dual Action Variable Speed Polisher" that he bought for the cars, and a Meguiar's buffing pad with the Etch product. I followed the instructions on the product, and amazingly it worked, and it worked extremely well. I had to go over some areas 2-3 times to bring the stain shine back. The product is in a very small bottle, its expensive, but a tiny bit goes a long way. Without this product, I would have spent thousands on a professional refinishing the travertine. When I was using it, like the instructions say, I did have to repeat the process some two-three times before all the etch marks were gone. I thought I ruined my engineered marble vanity top and was going to have to replace it. I had used vinegar and water on it to try and get rid of some etched spots and it caused many dull places on most of my countertop along with waterspots. I was sick! Very noticeable because of the window in my bathroom. I then tried barkeepers on it and that made it worse. You can not use any type of acid or barkeepers on marble even if it is engineered. I did not know this. After doing some research I thought I would try this product. There are tons of reviews saying it probably would not work on engineered marble and a couple of reviews saying it worked for them. I figured I didn’t have anything to lose. I gave it a try and it brought my shine back!!!!! I watched the YouTube video on how to use this product. That is a must if you are going to use this product. Make sure to cover cabinets and floor with trash bags and use gloves, mask and safety glasses. I did not use a buffer and did small circular motion by hand for 1-3 minutes rewetting with spray bottle (with small folded up paper towel) and quickly wiped with water and dried. I went through a whole roll of paper towels because I continued changing them out. Continued until entire countertop was finished. It took all the dull places away with light pressure. Repeated with light pressure 2-3 times on the entire countertop. A spray bottle, paper towels and a trashcan are a must. After I was happy with results I cleaned with soap and water and dried thoroughly. Applied the sealer from this same company. Let cure for 4-6 hours. Not sure if I applied the sealer correctly but it looks 90% back to normal. I could not find a video on their sealer. I am very satisfied with their products. I only have an after picture. My son made some vinegar cucumber concoction when we were away on vacation and spilled vinegar on our marble table. It was pretty bad. This stuff worked very well. I spared no expense in selecting a stunning marble slab for my kitchen island, and I made sure to invest in the best products to keep it looking brand new. That's why I was devastated when I noticed a strange white mark on the surface. After some frantic googling, I discovered that it was an etch caused by some acidic fruit juice that had spilled and been left uncleaned. Desperate for a solution, I turned to Lustro Italiano Etch Remover, hoping it would be my saving grace. The directions were straightforward, and I applied the product carefully, following every step to a tee. I was optimistic as I wiped away the excess, but my heart sank as I saw that the etch was still there, mocking me with its ghostly presence. In a last-ditch effort, I applied more of the Lustro Italiano Etch Remover, hoping that the second time would be the charm. But as I wiped it away, I noticed that the marble surface was now dull and lackluster, as if all its life had been sucked out of it.
