For my purposes it is very good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Compass is Very Easy to Use and Accurate *by J***N on December 15, 2023* I purchased this compass so that I could make full scale 22 inch diameter drawings of a composite flywheel I am designing in order to instruct the technicians who are building the flywheel in the location and orientation of the composite fibers. This project involved making numerous concentric circles on large sheets of vellum or bond paper with accurately spaced distance between each circle. I tried several other compasses with clip-on extensions and they proved too rickety to draw accurate large circles. This compass is exceedingly stiff and strong. Once you set the radius desired, it is not moving and the only inaccuracy is in how the pencil lead wears down. I tried to use a drawing pen but found that it was too sensitive to the angle of the compass arm with respect to the paper surface, and would skip irritatingly.
