Before you purchase, you should know......
21 of the songs are only PARTIAL songs because the range/scale on a kalimba can't reach some of the notes. So they didn't put that part of those 21 songs in the book! I was disappointed.

Great Music
I know that when you are learning something new it helps to know the songs, which all in this book were very well known to me. Anything from Let it Be (Beatles), to Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton) to Hotel California (Eagles) to Moves like Jagger (Maroon 5) - just loaded with songs every one would know. Excellent song book to learn the Kalimba!!

She loves it!
Bought as part of birthday present for my 12yr old granddaughter to go with new Kalimba. Although Kalimba came with a manual my granddaughter loved this book as it had clear instructions on a lot of popular songs she knew. Book is well illustrated and instructions clear. Younger sister aged 8 is using it too. I'm not well up on QR codes but grandchildren seem to know what they doing & how to use them. Having reviewed lots of these books I basically chose this one because I liked the colourful cover, good print size and the reasonable price and also it had good reviews. Happy I did as its a big hit with these Kalimba beginners. Like the A4 book size because it fits on music book stand nicely. Though paperback the cover is strong and pages are good quality.Highly recommend for young & not so young and not just for beginners. Enjoy

Schade!!

Good Selection but the book has errors.
This book has a good selection of songs and includes QR codes to each so you can hear what the original song sounds like. The songs include the melody line, and the lyrics as well as the numbers for the kalima keys. Just note that they haven't included the dots above the numbers so if you don't read music, it might be unclear at first which "1" key you should use. It is fairly easy to figure out though and you could add your own dots as you go. There are a couple of songs that require notes that are lower than the Kalima can play. Not sure how to handle those parts yet. Most of the songs are fine though and I like the variety of songs.

Tolles Buch
Tolles Songbook.
