I like the lemon scent. I feel like I'm using more than anticipated, but I was able to buy a huge refill bottle, so that's fine. I do use the tin to clean brushes, but I don't necessarily feel like it adds much to the deal. I always sanitize it when I'm done & store it dry, so I haven't had any issues with the finish. Overall this does a great job cleaning makeup brushes and I'm happy with the results.
