Instant relief
I had a vaginal home birth. A box of this came with my home birth kit so that I could make padsicles (YouTube instructions, sweet sweet relief) they worked so well I bought several more boxes so I could take a bath every day and make more padsicles. I would recommend to anyone who had a vaginal birth and tore. All natural. No weird smell. Worked like a charm.

Postpartum soak
This is a good product for the postpartum period. I used this in combination with the new mama bottom spray and witch hazel pads. My biggest complaint is the thinness of the herb bags. After sitting in hot water for 10-15 minutes (steeping time), the bags almost burst without touching them. However, this bath soak and the spray gave me some comfort during the healing time. I filled the bath tub with just enough water to cover my bottom while I boiled 3 cups of water and allowed the herb bags to steep.

I steeped these bags and poured the liquid onto my post partum pads, then froze them. Frozen pads are UH MAZE ING. seriously. I bought another box for soaking in the tub as well. Ask your doctor for extra mesh underwear, I didn't think to and ended up trying to wash them..didn't go so well. Those maternity pads also fit in boy shorts a size or two up, so you could buy some to plan ahead, but as long as you are at the hospital, they will give you extra.

Must have for post-natal nether care!
Loved having these after I had my baby last month. I looked forward to a hot sizt bath with these and Epsom salts every night to alleviate the pain from tearing. I froze a box once and used them that way a couple times but really preferred putting them in the warm water. This, along with the earth mama perineal balm and spray, were lifesavers!!

Life saver!
Had level 3 tearing after birth. Used these for every sitz bath. First made the “tea” in a jar and used it in the water then refrigerated the tea bag for a cold compress as I aired out afterwards. My doctor has never seen such good healing so quickly!
