Lids are a little flimsy feeling but for the price you get what you get. Learn to be gentle and you wont have a problem! So far none have broken and they have done well in the microwave. Not sure if the fiancé has put them in the dishwasher or not. After 1 use of washing, storing my meals and freezing them 2 of the containers have cracked underneath and the lids have broke.
