Review: Great camera and support team. - In July 2025, we purchased the GMK 2K wireless outdoor camera and found it to be an excellent option, outperforming a similar camera we had bought previously. Several months later, the camera went offline, and we were unable to reconnect it despite trying every solution we could think of. We decided to contact the camera support team to see if they could help resolve the issue. Their response was much quicker than expected, and the offered several helpful suggestions to help get the camera back online. After four or five email exchanges--and even an offer to replace the camera--we were finally able to get it back online, thanks to the efforts of their support team. The camera is now working flawlessly, but just as important as the product itself is having reliable support when and if needed. For that we give them 5 plus stars because customer support is a huge thing for us and they provided it. We highly recommend the GMK 2K outdoor camera.
Review: Feeling Secure - I'm pretty much a skeptical person especially when it comes to purchasing items online, however, I'm totally absolutely pleased with these cameras. I purchased two of the white cameras and the great part is I no longer have to peek out the window when I hear a noise. The night vision is perfect, the video quality is amazing. I'm 60+& I installed the cameras myself. The app is very easy to navigate and the best part is you can monitor your property even when you're away. Oh and BTW, I have had no problems with them functioning during extreme weather conditions.

The high-sensitivity lens ensures vibrant imaging in low-light conditions, making this outdoor monitor an essential guardian for identifying visitors or vehicles without the need for constant manual adjustment.
- [Wire-Free & Non-Stop Solar Powered Outdoor Camera] This solar camera with true cordless design. No wire, no hassle. Sustainable solar powered and battery powered, no need to recharge again and again. Environmentally friendly and sustainable energy, inject a steady stream of electricity into your camera. By managing several units through one intuitive app, you create a unified safety network and your property protected together.
- 【Multi-Mode Deterrence & Clear 2-Way Talk】 Take control of your home’s perimeter with high-quality 2-way talk and integrated audio. Use your smartphone to communicate with couriers at the door or warn off trespassers near your fence. For active defense, choose from multiple alarm modes including a loud siren, flashing white spotlights, or both combined. These intelligent deterrents can be triggered manually or automatically when motion is detected, providing a powerful psychological barrier against intruders while ensuring you have recorded evidence of every interaction.

- 【Customizable Notification Zones & Smart Record Management】 Maintain awareness without the notification fatigue. Our customizable activity zones allow you to focus on high-priority areas like the immediate entrance of your warehouse or driveway. This refined management tool is designed to give you peace of mind by prioritizing critical alerts, ensuring you are only interrupted for significant movements on your property.
- 【Long-Range 2.4GHz WiFi & Remote Live Monitoring】 Stay connected even from a distance with optimized 2.4GHz WiFi technology, designed for superior signal penetration through exterior walls. This wireless unit ensures a stable live stream from your backyard or remote outbuildings without frustrating lag. It’s a must-have for frequent travelers who need a reliable digital window into their home or business environment everyday.
- 【Data Encryption & Secure Privacy Protection】 Your privacy is non-negotiable. We utilize data encryption to secure every transmission between the monitor and your mobile device. This advanced protocol ensures that your video footage remains private and accessible only to authorized users, whether stored on a local card or in the cloud. Unlike standard systems, our secure framework provides a failsafe backup for your digital evidence, giving you the confidence that your family's personal moments are protected by industry-leading safety standards.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I claim my 7-day free trail of cloud storage for my WiFi camera?**
A: Access a free 7-day free trail of cloud storage via the VicoHome App. Navigate to Camera Settings > Cloud Service > Redeem. If needed, you can continue to subscribe after trial ends, or insert a memory card for the free storage.

**Q: Why does it only show pictures and no video?**
A: Please manually claim a 7-day free trail of cloud storage or insert an memory card for local storage to access videos. If needed, you can 1. continue to subscribe after trial ends 2. insert a memory card for the free local storage.

**Q: How long does this outdoor camera's battery last?**
A: Typically, a fully charged device supports up to 3000 PIR activations. Battery life can be extended by adjusting settings and avoiding heat sources. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if issues arise.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's A Decent Camera But..
*by J***A on June 11, 2025*

I'm not sure what to think of this camera, and whether or not I'm going to go with a different brand. I got this camera for the sole purpose of watching the front area of our house because in the past we have had several times where someone damaged our old vehicle. The quality of the video is great - both day and at night. There are times when it lags but I'm sure that has to do with my Internet connection; so it's not the camera's fault. However...I have a few issues that kinda get on my nerves sometimes. First, when I go to view the live feed of the camera, most of the time I will encounter 'connecting' before actually showing the live feed. This can either go on for a couple to several seconds. But sometimes, it just doesn't connect at all...forcing me to close out of the app, then retry. Again, this could be an Internet issue? But idk. Second, there are times when it's not recording movement when it very well should be. For example, it will record when a car pulls up and parks within the zone I have set. But then it doesn't record individuals exiting their vehicles and walking. This has happened to my own family's car and selves. It shows us pulling in and parking (the white car by the tree), but doesn't record us walking directly in front of our house and into our yard, when it should...because it's within the zone I have set. And YES, I have it set up to record when people pass by, not just vehicles. However it seems to have no issue of recording neighbors passing by in front of our house. Third, I have a zone set up. It cuts off just before the end of our block. However, I'll get notified about an approaching vehicle...ONCE it's already at the end of our block and about to make a turn. It's out of the zone at that point. So I like this camera, but with the annoying issues...I might look for another. Unless I can get assistance/feedback on what could be causing these problems I am having. If these issues can be fixed, I won't look for another camera. So - Not detecting movement by people when it should, notifying me of things that are OUT of the zone I have set, trouble connecting to see the live feed. EDIT: So I have done some research outside of the pamphlet provided and have done some things to improve my experience with this camera. 1. In order to greatly extend the battery life, I turned off audio. It's not something I needed anyway. 2. I edited the area (zone) I wish to record, reducing it down to only what really matters. 3. Next I plan on putting the camera at a different angle to see if that helps with capturing movement. I've also figured that the trees that are lined up along the sidewalk in front of my house can interfere with what the camera is able to capture. I will be cutting some of the trees to improve visibility. So, with my edited comment - I really do like this camera. Hopefully I can get the recording of movement problem fixed, by adjusting the positioning of the camera. I would like to get a 2nd camera as well. As far as the connectivity issues, if you experience that like I do sometimes - it's the internet, not the cameras, fault. So with that part I will just have to deal sometimes. So overall, for the price and what this camera offers, it's a pretty good camera!
