I even slept with a neck brace to try to keep my head midline (this worked OK, but put too much pressure on my jawline). This foam neck roll is near perfect for me. I sleep on all sides, and when I lie on my back my neck is free from pain. When I am on my side I feel it also keeps my neck pain free. When I sleep on my stomach I have to place the roll at my chest, and although turning my head to the side does cause some discomfort after a while it is far better than before using a standard pillow in various configurations. Use the size guide and choose the right size.
