We will use a small battery to run it, so the usb connection is perfect for our need. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use. Powerful. Not too loud. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 19, 2015* this is a great fan. compared to the thermaltake, it is slightly louder but it is also a bit more powerful (you can feel the air moving against your hand). it also sits against the ground, unlike the thermaltake, which is lifted on a stand about half an inch. so if the computer is flush with the desk, this is a better option. finally, this fan looks nicer in all black - more like a finished product than the thermaltake. note that we didn't use the black pegs that go onto the screws as shown in the picture and it works fine and looks fine. it looks hard to put together when you first get it, but it is just a matter of screwing in a few screws and then throwing away the black footstands. very easy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality Quiet Fan And A Very Good Value *by M***7 on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 1, 2013* This fan is extremely quiet, and it moves more than a reasonable amount of air. I purchased it to add additional cooling to my Coolermaster U3 laptop Cooling Pad. I have mounted it directly under my laptops CPU because it has higher output than one of existing fans. There was plenty of room on the U3 for the existing 3 fans to be reconfigured. The fans that came with my cool pad have sleeve bearings. So when they start to go, I'll buy 2 more of this fan, as 3 can easily fit. As a side note to this review, I do not plan on buying another cooler, as mine is designed so that any fan can be easily installed in minutes. It is linked below for anyone interested. An excellent one to consider if you have the need. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is the same fan as the "cooler guys" fan, at a lower price. The "cooler guys" logo is on the fans hub. With the dual ball bearings, I expect this fan to last a long time. I highly recommend this fan for it's quality and value. Thanks for reading. I hope someone finds my review helpful in making a buying decision. --->  Cooler Master NotePal U3 - Laptop Cooling Pad with 3 Movable Fans  ___________________________________________________________________ ***UPDATE Dec. 26, 2013. While I still stand by my review for the quality of this fan, I recently purchased 2 of the fans below. I have concluded that these are better fans with more features, and are worth considering. --->  AC Infinity AI-MPF120A Quiet 120mm USB Fan for Receiver DVR Playstation Xbox Computer Cabinet Cooling --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/4124306-120mm-dual-ball-bearing-usb-powered-case-fan](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/4124306-120mm-dual-ball-bearing-usb-powered-case-fan) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
