However, despite its simplicity, it is actually quite functional and comfortable!This chair/stool is not as comfortable as a traditional travel chair, but it is also far more simple than a traditional chair, weighing far less. Due to its design, it is most comfortable for sitting with one's legs slightly separated (as opposed to sitting cross-legged). I wouldn't want to sit in this chair/stool for hours on end, but it is great for shorter periods of time.This chair folds VERY easily, but does not have any clips or straps to keep it closed (though I think you could use the shoulder strap in some way?). That's okay, though, because it does stay closed while being carried. It also comes with a shoulder strap to make it easier to carry.If you need a lightweight travel chair/stool that is NOT in a nylon bag (some venues restrict the types of chairs permitted, and prohibit chairs in bags), this might be the perfect choice for you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I said, "Oh! I got this chair because I have nerve damage in my feet and chronic pain in my back and legs. I love to walk and need to walk, but I get tired. I'm too short for any affordable rolling walker, and frankly, I'd prefer not to use one anyway, 'cause I don't have a balance problem. I got this because it has a short seat and a back. It was a shot in the dark. I took it out of the box, set it up in a few seconds, and sat down. I almost cried. It is SO comfortable. I know this is meant for camping, but it is awesome for my LIFE!!! The sling seat is incredible for my low back pain and eases other pains that I have caused by being bedridden too much. I will be able to throw this in a rolling cart because it's so light. I'll be able to bring it into friends' homes and re-join the party. I am so grateful. What a simple solution to a complex problem!!!! Did I gush enough? Probably, but I there aren't many objects that I can be that grateful for!
