## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this connect to WiFi**
A: No.

**Q: Hi, can I have no light on the nightlight and then program it to only come on gradually as I wake? So no light during the majority of the night?**
A: Exactly, it'll start to come on the set amount of time before you set the "alarm". Though normally the slowly brightening light will wake me up before it even gets to the alarm time. Mine gets the most use when I have to get up at 6am for work sometimes and most of the time I'm awake about 10 mins before it goes off. (I set it to gradually get lighter over half an hour since that works the best for me)

**Q: Can you have the sunset dimming without accompanying audio?**
A: Hello,
I am honored to serve you, the sunrise alarm clock should not completely turn off the sound, but you can adjust the volume minimum. The volume level of the sunrise alarm clock has 1 ~ 16.1 file volume, which is almost unaffected at a distance of more than one meter.
Attach the alarm setting video, wake up light volume adjustment will automatically pop up during the process of setting the alarm, the sound selection involved in the alarm should also be given to you by the process, hoping to help you.

**Q: Does this turn itself off after a while? (Lumi has the awful habit of plunging you into darkness after 90 minutes, just as you’re ready to get up.)**
A: I don't believe it switches off if you've switched it on, though I'm not sure if I've had it on longer than around 2 hours.

If the light has come on as part of your alarm, then it does turn itself off after around 15-20mins I think as I often have to reach over and press the light button to get it back on if I've not quite got up yet :)

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 January 2022*

This clock is great value for money. I have read reviews saying it is difficult to use and while it can be a tiny bit tricky with all the buttons, especially if you wait until night time to set it when you are tired, I don't see how they could make it much simpler given that there are so many options e.g. brightness, sound, volume, 2 alarm options, snooze function and sunset option. I would set aside 20 minutes to read the instructions and just practice before you need to go to bed, and keep the instruction manual next to the bed until you get used to it.I love that you can turn off the time display at night which provides an alarm clock with no annoying light interfering with sleep. The light options are so varied and the sunset option is really great, sometimes I use it when I am getting ready for bed to provide a nice, calm, increasingly dark light to help me get in the mood for sleep. One thing I would like is maybe more sound options. I am not a great morning person and so I find myself becoming irritated by even the few calming sound options in the morning. However, I ended up switching the sound to the radio to wake me which I thought I would never use, but in fact I find it great! There is always a new sound to irritate me so I don't associate the sound of birds, waves etc. with having to get out of bed. It is also cheaper than a lot of other options which is great.I would also like to find an easier way to turn down the volume in the morning- I don't think the volume buttons work when I wake up and realise the volume on the radio required to wake me is too loud for me to continue listening as I get ready for the day. I am sorry if I'm wrong, but frantically pressing the volume buttons in an irritated, tired mood doesn't seem to work for me, I think it may remain at the pre-set volume from the night before?

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great! And multi purpose
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 August 2026*

I’ve only had this thing for a day and I am obsessed, as well as an alarm clock it has a free app which connects to it and it can play relaxing sounds and acts as a lap too!Very good value and a great addition to your bedroom!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great sunrise alarm clock
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 July 2026*

This is a really nice alarm clock and light. I really enjoy the sunrise effect before the alarm goes off as is slowly prepares me for waking up. The alarm is loud so you can’t sleep through it. You can set 4 separate alarms at one time which is great when you have more than one person using it or want a different time for different days. You can adjust how bright you want it and how white to yellow you want. It’s easy to use as there is an app that goes alongside it and is easy to set up. The sounds are nice although I don’t use them. I would say sometimes the alarm doesn’t go off and I’m unsure why. It could be something I am doing wrong. Overall I would purchase this item again.
