It is great to have a review of cutting edge research. Fascinating. I love reading about the amazing things going on today that I could never dream of. The next great cancer cures will come from the empirical research reviewed here. It is written in an understandable style.DeGregory makes a compelling case for a much broader view of how to look at cancer in the body. There are still massive amounts of research dollars that approach cancer from 50 year old models. Any theoretician looking to model effective cancer prevention should look here, where evolution plays a strong factor, and the fitness of tissues and natural defense strategies we already have become our allies. The beauty of this book is, it is backed up by today's research.So often our only course to eradicate a cancer is to  kill the cancer and almost kill the host- us. This book actually makes me want to care for my own body in a preventive, pro-active way. I now have a much better understand of why to do preventive things. I smile more broadly when I go out for my morning swim. Thanks for this book.
