Review: Excellent product. I bought this to replace a 30 years old handset that I couldn't hear anymore. It was working but had a very quiet ring. I couldn't even tell what make it was, only that it had a B as a logo. I installed the wires in the same order the first time and nothing worked. No instructions in the pack. I've done a little research and found this compatibility diagram, noticed that my handset was the only one with an 11 so it was a Briton. I looked at the equivalent to bell and I had to match the wires to IROTZ and now it works like a charm. Very loud. It even has a volume switch if that's not for you. They are good quality, solid and work well. If you are replacing an older intercom phone I suggest taking a photo of the cables before you remove the old one so you know exactly where they need to go on this one. One smart feature is the door release button is located under the phone, so you can't accidently unlock the door by knocking into it.
