A 5v smartphone charger, with the cable stripped apart and wired to the leads, will suffice. This is essentially how I did it. Just be sure to get your positive and negative leads wired correctly to avoid damaging the laser module. (indoor safety line at night)** A: The standard Laser has a 60 degree lens. Therefore, at 2 inches away from the target the laser line will be 2 inches long and approximately 1 mm and width. The further you get from the target the longer the line will be in a one to one ratio with 60°.
