Usually near the belt loops or the pocket corners. Typically I’ll have to send them to a seamstress or the local dry cleaners to mend them. I haven’t used patches in ages and thought I’d give these a go.Install was super simple. I trimmed up the frayed fabric in the jeans. Then I cut the patches to fit the area with the rip. I sized them a bit big for coverage and extra strength. Then I used the iron to really adhere it well. I went over it with several passes, adding extra pressure. Then I covered them with some old book to add a little weight.It’s been a few months now with zero issues! They have not torn or ripped any farther. The patches are holding up great and I wear these jeans a few times every week.Washing machine has not affected them at all. I will add, that I don’t dry my jeans in the dryer. I always hang dry them. So I’m sure that helps.
