The spatulas have a firm, yet flexible tip that works perfectly to scrap out the last of the cat food and gravy from the cans. Over time, the cans eventually cut the edge and I finally replace them again. Quite cost effective and I like that the tip holds up for years and is flexible enough to do the job right.
