As I mentioned before, no sharpening is necessary. It's exceptionally good for trimming close to the skin, without irritating the skin or cutting yourself. Since I got 2, I've been using one under the shower, and the other one for trimming my beard and trimming my neck hair. 3. IS THE PRODUCT EASY TO USE? Needless to say, no instruction is necessary.
