It is somewhat delicate and because of its unique shape and design, it can be difficult to change the batteries, etc. And when the clock mechanism stopped working it was a lengthy process to contact the maker, order a replacement mechanism and install the new one. While replacing the mechanism, I inadvertently broke one of the clock arms. Sheesh! So, another process to replace that!
