Made in Humboldt County, California, it includes 3 feet of clear vinyl tubing for easy connection to an air pump. Developed with gardener feedback, it offers a simple, mess-free, and durable solution for brewing nutrient-rich compost tea efficiently. ## Description The BubbleSnake is an aerator for compost tea. There are holes in the bottom of the snake that are big enough so that large bubbles are created. The larger bubbles make mixing currents in the bucket, which helps avoid sedimentation in your compost tea. The best thing about the BubbleSnake is that it is so easy to use and clean. It has been developed by over time through feedback from real gardeners. Simple and effective, TeaLAB's unofficial motto. Connect the BubbleSnake to an air pump and you are ready to brew. We recommend the 715GPH air pump, or the 1100 GPH if you are at higher elevations or just want to "air" on the side of caution. Use a BubbleSnake to brew your best tea, the most efficient way possible. This tool is made to last. - 3 feet of clear vinyl tubing is now included with your BubbleSnake purchase. The air tubing looks to be the same size. If it's not, you can either use a simple hose clamp, or warm up the tubing to stretch it if the fit is tight. **Q: What size diameter tubing do I need for the 5 gallon snake? It is larger then standard aquarium airline and I've read it's 3/8" and 1/2"** A: The 5 Gallon BubbleSnake comes with a fitting for 1/4" Inside Diameter tubing. Standard aquarium tubing is too small for the air pump we recommend. If you would like a fitting for 3/8" tubing, just let us know in the comment section on your order. We are more than happy to make it work for you. **Q: Are the bubblesnake, bag, & tubing made from bpa free and food safe?** A: Yes it is **Q: Why does it cost 60% ($12) of the price to ship a piece of flex pvc to pennsylvania, that can be made for $7?** A: It’s a system ready for the person who has no time to build one of his own you are getting the kit but if you can build one your self for less power to you. ## Frequently Bought Together - Compost Tea Aerator - The BubbleSnake : 5 Gallon Bucket Aerator - EcoPlus ECOair 1 Commercial Grade Air Pump 793 GPH - 18 Watt Single Outlet with 6 Valve Manifold - Compost Tea Brew Bag : Made to Last in The USA (5 Gallon Bucket Sized (9"x14")) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/420165480-compost-tea-aerator-the-bubblesnake-5-gallon-bucket-aerator](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/420165480-compost-tea-aerator-the-bubblesnake-5-gallon-bucket-aerator) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
