It fits snugly enough so it doesn't slide around when I'm typing, but I have enough room to remove it for charging. I like that I can store it in the mesh pocket when I'm not using it to keep it from raddling around loosely in the main compartment. I also found the little ring on the side of the case very handy. I attached a clip so I can hang it from my belt holster with myphone and airpods. the only thing I didn't like was the protective strap in the main compartment. It's stitched into the top of the case with a space underneath for the items to fit. It made it so the keyboard couldn't lay flat in the bottom of the case, and typing was almost impossible. If the strap had been sewn in differently so it was flush with the bottom, it wouldn't have been such an issue. I solved that problem by cutting the strap out, and now I have a perfect typing surface. And I don't need the strap for protection because I have the mesh pocket. if you use this as it's intended, the strap shouldn't be an issue for you. I'm very happy with my purchase, and wanted to get this review out there in case there's somebody else looking for an after-market case for the Orbit Writer braille keyboard. It's not easy to find mainstreamed cases for products that aren't mainstreamed. :-) I tried to add photos showing the keyboard in the open pocket and the mesh pocket so you can see how it fits, but I'm not sure they both uploaded. And also I'm totally blind, so my photography skills probably aren't the greatest.
