Review: Most comfortable ear plugs for small ears! - I received these a week ago and for the first time in years, I've been sleeping soundly through the night. My busy house is not the most tranquil at any time of the day. Between my husband's snoring, cats playing all night, young children waking up at various times and loud frogs in our pond right outside our bedroom windows, I was a sleep-deprived mess. I had been using Hearos ear plugs and they are great for blocking out sound, but were too big for my ears. They hurt so much the pain kept me awake. I was desperate and spent quite a bit of time researching other options. I'm so glad I came across these earplugs. Ohropax are the most comfortable ear plugs ever. The first night I wore them, my daughter climbed into bed with us because she had a nightmare. I didn't even know until I woke up in the morning and saw her lying next to me. I'd slept soundly through the whole episode! They are easy to use. Simply remove the cotton wrapping, roll them into a ball and press them onto your ear to cover your ear canal; they do not go inside your ear canal (although they go in slightly, but it's not uncomfortable at all.) The next morning your ears have a little bit of a waxy film, but it's not much and it's easily wiped away. They come in a nice tin container, but I'm using another tin box to store the pair I'm currently using to keep the fresh, unused pairs separated from the ones in use. The instructions say you can re-use a pair until they get dirty. I'm not sure how long that will be although after a week of using them on extremely clean ears (I go right to bed after my evening shower), they are still in good shape. I will continue to use these life savers forever!!! As anyone who has been sleep-deprived for extended periods of time knows, once you start getting rest you feel like you have a new life! I have more energy, I'm doing better at work, I'm happier, I'm able to get up earlier to work out so hopefully I can soon add weight loss to the list of benefits too. I love these!

**Q: How many uses can you get from a single pair (for sleeping)?**
A: I used them for mowing the lawn. And I used them over and over. They are the very best that I have ever used......and they work!!

**Q: Are these reusable, stay in your ear, block out snoring**
A: Yep, I replace mine once a month or so and are the best in-ear solution for snoring that I've come across.

**Q: When cottony covering is removed, a thin layer of cotton remains. Does that have to be picked off, or can ear plug still seal into ear?**
A: A bit of cotton in your ear will not hurt you.    I love these ear plugs because they block the noise so well.  As you use one,  the cotton will fall off in the process, anyway.    It kinda reminds me of bubble gum.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much More Comfortable Than Silicon or Foam Ear Plugs

I purchased the Ohropax Wax Earplugs based on comfort looking at other websites and their recommendations. I found that 4 out of the 5 websites that I went to, recommended Ohropax over other brands based on the comfortability factor. I was willing to sacrifice a little bit of noise reduction dB for comfortability. Traditional Earplugs block out about 30+ dB whereas the Wax Ear Plugs are rated for 23 dB noise reduction. When I received the Ohropax Wax Ear Plugs, I opened the container that the plugs come in, and I must say, was a little confused as to why the plugs were covered in cotton, but that's just to protect them from getting dirty. All you have to do is remove most of the cotton (You probably will not remove ALL of the cotton, but 95% or so is suficient enough), and mold the wax plugs into a ball and place them in your ear canal, and push the wax into your ear canal. The wax will shape to your canal. The feeling is a little weird at first, and going to bed with them in your ears is a little weird/discomforting at first, but you'll adjust after a couple of nights. I don't even notice that they're in anymore. It's even a little weird for me when I'm visiting my girlfriend's place and NOT using them. The directions that come in the container recommend only using the plugs once, but I use them way more than one time. I'd say I get about 2-4 weeks use out of each set of plugs before they get dirty, or hair gets into them, or ear wax buildup shows up on them. The first set of plugs I used, I stored them on top of the container, but I only got about a week or two use out of them. I suggest storing your current set of plugs in the container to keep them clean, and extend their life. The reason I was looking into earplugs in the first place was my noisy neighbors above me in my apartment. My ears are pretty sensitive while in bed, so I hear just about everything. Car doors slamming shut, footsteps, conversations, etc. The only thing I can hear is when there's a loud thud above me, but I've already diplomatically squashed that issue with my upstairs neighbors, so that's not much of an issue anymore. I place these babies into my ear, and have a little fan next to my bed going at the same time for a little white noise, and I sleep through the night. I would very much recommend these to anyone that has trouble sleeping, and your ears are a bit sensitive when going to bed. Just remember that it'll be a bit weird at first going to bed, so take the plugs with a grain of salt at first, and don't give up on them immediately. These are wayyyyy more comfortable than foam or silicon ear plugs. If you have any questions about the product, feel free to ask!
