desertcart.com : MothMag Clothes Moth Traps (6 Pack) – Pheromone Glue Traps for Wardrobes, Closets, Carpets & Fabrics – Trap for Wool, Cashmere & Silk : Home & Kitchen

Review: It’s In The Name- These ARE Moth Magnets! - Like many people, I am trying to eliminate my use of “-cides;” pesticides, herbicides, etc which poison our environment. When I brought a load of clothing from my parent’s house to get sorted for donation, a bunch of cloth-eating moths hitched a ride to my house. I’ve had minor issues before, but suddenly had the worst problem with them in the 20+ years I’ve lived here. This product had great reviews, the price was right, and it seemed like a better and more permanent solution than simply repelling moths with the cedar or lavender I’ve used in the past. This is one of those rare products that work SO well that I wish I’d found it sooner! I decided to open and deploy these traps at night; in retrospect it might have helped that the rest of the house was dark, and that the only light was coming from my bedroom, where I was working with them. The light *could* have been part of what attracted the moths, but of course I couldn’t say for sure. All *can* say for sure is that these MothMags worked so well and so immediately that I couldn’t believe my eyes! Sitting on the floor, I began opening the foil pouches, assembling the traps into the triangular hangers, and lining them up on my bed as they were done. By about the third one that was assembled and ready to go, I looked up from my work and saw that there was a moth hovering around the completed traps, so I smashed it. Then, two *more* appeared, and I smashed them, too. By the time I had all six traps assembled, I had smashed 7 or 8 moths that were attracted to the traps, AND 3 of the traps had a total of 5 moths already stuck on the sticky paper! I know this won’t sound weird to anyone reading this review- if you’re here looking for a way to get rid of these pests, you know the sheer frustration of putting on one of your nice sweaters or scarves or whatever, only to find those tiny holes… I was SO excited by such great- and immediate- results that I texted my husband, working his overnight shift in the ER, something I only do for “important” stuff. I’m going to take and post a picture of one of the traps that has been out for less than 3 days. I’ve been monitoring their progress by visiting the traps every day, counting the number of “catches,” and writing it on the side. I will have to re-read the instructions to find out how long it takes for the attractant to wear off or dissipate or whatever; I came here to buy another pack to have on hand when it’s time to replace them. As I suspected, it was hard to capture all three sides of the inside of the trap, so I counted the trapped moths. There are currently 18, but there may or may not be 17 in the picture- I noticed a moth flying around the area when I was setting up the photo, stepped away to edit the pictures, and when I came back, one of the moths was still alive, fluttering a tiny bit as it could, and was obviously a very recent catch. I often end a review with something like ‘I can’t say enough good things about this product,’ but that’s just like, my opinion, man- right? In this case, I’ve been able to provide measurable (countable) evidence for how amazing these MothMags are AND I can’t say enough good things about them! If moths are snacking on your clothes- GET THESE! You won’t be sorry!
Review: Moths in and outside the closet : Trapped in these boxes! - Update about one year later: My Closet Moth problem has been resolved thanks to the MothMag traps! As I mentioned, I placed them outside the closets and they attracted Closet moths, as well as Carpet/Birdseed/Pantry moths, and Fungus Gnats (near my plants). Having become an expert on all this: Buy as many MothMag traps as you can plus others (for Carpet/Birdseed/Pantry Moths) and place them all over your house about 4-5 feet or higher. From experience I learned that you optimally want a trap everywhere a male moth is so that it enters the trap and does not find a female moth. The more traps you have around the house the more chance that it finds a box rather than a female moth. For this new moth season from May-September I just bought about 24 MothMags, plus other leading Carpet Moth/Birdseed/Panty traps and the remaining moths (last years moths that hatched from last year's larvae) immediately and mostly have migrated into the MothMags! Hopefully, I will be finished with moths by the end of this year. Note: If you have Carpet moths, you will have to throw out your rugs and replace with synthetic rugs. Wait as long as you can before replacing (depending on the rules for covering floors in your apt.) and clean your floors regularly with a swiffer. When you get new rugs be sure to vacuum once a week. Update: The MothMag traps solved my closet-moth problem! ****** Plaqued by tiny moths outside the closet which, from their behavior, I believe were/are carpet moths, I also noticed some moths [possibly a little smaller] in the closet, so I purchased these traps hoping that they would help and in less than two days the [male] moths started to move into the MothMag traps in the closet and a few also in the traps outside the closet! Since they definitely work, I recommend them for closets and also outside the closet since the moths can fly out of the closet! I bought two packages of six traps and put them in all my closets, although only one closet has the moths, and also around the house.

## Features

- ✅ SPECIALIST CLOTHES MOTH TRAP: Designed specifically for clothing moths (not pantry or gypsy moths). Protects wool, cashmere, silk, cotton, and other delicate fabrics from holes and larvae damage before it starts.
- ✅ PHEROMONE LURE TECHNOLOGY: A timed-release female pheromone attracts male clothing moths into the trap, helping to interrupt their breeding cycle. No spraying or wiping required — simply hang and let the lure do the work.
- ✅ LONG-LASTING WARDROBE PROTECTION: Each trap remains effective for up to 12 weeks, making this 6-pack ideal for multiple closets, wardrobes, drawers, or storage boxes. Helps stop an existing infestation and prevents moths spreading between garments.
- ✅ HIGH-STRENGTH ADHESIVE GLUE: The extra-tack glue board captures moths on contact with no escape. Open-flow design maximizes pheromone dispersion for stronger, faster catch rates throughout closets and carpeted areas.
- ✅ SIMPLE SETUP, 6-PACK VALUE: Just unfold, peel, and hang — ready in seconds, no tools required. Covers multiple rooms or storage areas. Backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good traps
*by K***L on October 19, 2023*

When I first set these up I didn’t get the influx of moths like some other users got even though I had been seeing them around my house every day. At first I was really disappointed because I could visibly see them flying around and yet they were not being trapped lol. After a few weeks though I started seeing more on the trap. It’s gross but at the same time I’m glad to see it’s finally doing it’s job! I gave it four because I still don’t think it attracts them 100%. I have seen some fly near the traps and it didn’t seem to phase them at all. But I do like that they are easy to set up and they are odorless and can be hidden if chosen. Overal I think I will continue to purchase them in the future, along with taking all the other measures so I can be rid of them. If y’all still haven’t caught any after the first week, try to be patient because it seems to work stronger after they’ve been up awhile. At least that was the case for me
