Not the thinnest I have ever seen, but they are pretty bad nonetheless. The colors are bright and the illustrations are simple and defined. It follows the RW style and also reminds me a bit of the Morgan Greer style which includes no borders. The deck reads well, shuffles well even though the card stock is a bit thin. The book is in full color and on nice paper. To me the book was done better than the cards and I wish it would be the other way around. The book and cards would be a great start for a beginner because they are easy to understand and I feel like in this case the simplicity and the "less" is more applies. Some of the characters are in silhouette which I think is just lovely and is part of what drew me to this deck. Each suit has its own color scheme while still remaining cohesive as a whole.
