I grind the beans very finely, the way I learned when I lived in Europe and made drip coffee. I've tried and tried to find a small coffee maker that makes really good coffee, but never succeeded until now in finding one as good as the more time-consuming pour-over, cone coffee system. The only problem I have is that with such finely-ground coffee and using an extra scoop of coffee grounds, the cone fills up and makes it difficult to insert into the holder when I make 4 or 5 cups (I figured out how to tilt it to make it work!). The lid can be lifted up, and I can watch the water drip down onto the grounds, which is amusing! I’m having fun with this coffee maker that does everything but grind the coffee beans!
