I really thought they'd have outgrown them, but these were so inexpensive, and they were so persistent that I finally gave in. The company shipped super fast! Product was here days before estimated so my kiddos were delighted they got them right away. I had been concerned that the product boxes might be a little beat up or missing, and/or merchandise looking used or damaged (from problems previous reviews had mentioned) but these were perfectly pristine and top quality shape - better than you would get straight off walmart's shelves! Immediately used a screwdriver to easily remove the battery case lid and insert 3 AAA batteries, turned the switch to timer (3 positions: timer/on/off) and returned battery case to the zippered compartment under the tail. Both worked, no problem. I especially like that it activates by squeezing the emblem on left front paw AND also deactivates the same way (you do not have to wait for the timer to run out). My final concern was whether the pet would actually be big enough to work as a pillow (16-18 inches seems small), but it is ample for soft, cuddly snuggles! FYI: the penguin is much brighter than the seal for some reason, not that it makes a difference to us :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pillow Pets Glow Pets Penguin *by A***E on September 13, 2016* Pillow Pets Glow Pets Penguin Is soft and so cute. The night light is a great addition. I found him glowing in my daughters bed many nights. She would set him with her while she was reading and then would tuck her book into him. I recommend this to anyone with children who like a light at night to go to sleep. There is also a timer so the light turns off. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Light has a short. But super cute. *by R***A on August 24, 2015* Super cute and daughter is in LOVE, but the light always seems to act as tho there was a short. I had to bang the box of batteries to get it to work the first time and my gal has to push the paw button over and over to get it to stay on. But the 20 minute timer does work and the light is not too bright. I had bought it for her to take to first overnight camp where I knew they would be in dark tents. It was perfect. And size is great for kids, too.
