The 41000 series of non-ducted under cabinet hoods are made to exacting Broan standards, providing effective filtration, high quality and value. The range hood comes in a variety of appliance matching colors and widths, and includes a removable combination grease-charcoal filter for cleaner indoor exhaust recirculation, a fan designed for years of trouble free service, a protective lamp lens that distributes light evenly over the cook-top and control switches for fan speed and light activation.

It did arrive on the latest possible date specified by Purolator. Product itself, is a very nice upgrade for our kitchen and looks great with our flat black cabinet hardware and accents. Price is great!

**Q: I will be plugging the rangehood into the wall, will I need a power cord kit?**
A: Yes you will need to buy a power cord kit it does not come with one only the wires to connect it directly to the electric

**Q: Non-Ducted range Hood, does this mean there is no need to vent up thru the roof or out thru the wall?**
A: That's correct.  The air flows through the filter on the underside and out through the three columns of vent slats you see on the front of the range hood.  There is no connection to other vents or ducts in a wall or through the roof.

**Q: Hi, the specification says it is 30 inch. My old range is actually 29.75 inch. Has anyone actually measured the exact length? 30 inch won't fit.**
A: 30" with a measuring tape.

**Q: Does it get rid of kitchen smoke...that's what I need. My kitchen doesn't have an exhaust fan and every time I cook it smokes up the house.**
A: This unit is designed to take the smoke from the stove, then with the fan, draw it into the filter and remove as much of the particulate (smoke particles) as possible, then return it to the room. In the case of dense smoke, its almost useless. You need to clean or replace the filter at regular intervals

Great range hood that suits the requirements of our kitchen. Looks great and works great as we've already installed it. Light is a bit dim, but overall we're happy with this purchase. Shipping was a bit of a nightmare.
