They do need a case to protect them, especially when out and about. The magic keyboard folio doesn’t fully protect the edges of the iPad on its own and the pencil is just there magnetically balanced on the edge.I started looking on Amazon for a case that would fit my needs. I wanted a case that was hard shell. I have a very similar case for my laptop that you can actually rest the laptop on the case whilst using and this does the same thing. So in effect proecting the bottom of the folio/keyboard from spills, stains, grubby coffee shop tables etc.Everything fits in - just. It’s a bit of a squeeze with the keyboard folio attached, but it manages to keep everything in place. This means the case is compact and big enough to fit in a small bag. The case is light and strong. I feel confident this is protecting my items more than adequately.If I was to add anything that could be different it would be to have additional colours. I would like a lighter grey/cream to match the silver/white keyboard folio. I would even buy it again if they released this colour.I love this case. It is well made and a reasonable price.
