Straight out of the box, the keyboard is ready to go. Just plug into the power and connect to the computer. After connecting the computer the FL software immediately started updating the necessary drivers and started interfacing with software perfectly. Well almost perfect, there were a few snags figuring out settings, but if you ask me, that had more to do with my ex's intelligence then the software. The creators clearly had ease of use and connectivity in mind making this. The piano itself felt sturdy and well made. Heavy, but not hard to move heavy. It was very easy to pack up when he moved out, just wrapped it in a blanket and carried carefully. It is very long if you get the full size. (Obviously) I myself don't know all the features it had but he was happy with it. If you like using FL and use it often, this keyboard is probably a no trainer.
