It slips onto the large hole, when you put the red and black knobs back on it secures it. **Q: How big is it and how loud?** A: about 8" long 5" high and not loud at all! **Q: If i order this will i get everything thats suppose to come with it?** A: You must remove everything from the box. The air hose and sometimes one of the airbrushes will be found in a cut-out section of the styrofoam, on the OUTSIDE of the styrofoam where the the styrofoam touches the cardboard box. I was surprised by how quiet the unit was. Some YouTube reviews were wildly inaccurate about this fact. While the instructions certainly could have been better, there were enough there to get the machine assembled and painting quickly. So far, I have not had any issues with air leakage causing pressure issues or excess noise. All the seals are well-made. Considering the price point of the set, the included airbrushes were surprisingly functional. I didn't get any splatter or weird backpressure issues. They were super easy to clean. I even managed to get some decent detail work with it. I was also a bit pleasantly surprised by the size of the unit. It's light and small, super easy for anyone to move around. My only real complaint with the set is the airline. It wants to stay so tightly coiled that it is a bit difficult to use at times. It won't stop you in any way, but it can be a bit annoying.
