Review: Ido not use it for opening windows or the loft - I bought this to open the loft without thinking it through. It doesn't work on my type of loft hatch. However, as I am disabled its proved invaluable in other ways. I can just about stand on my loft ladder these days for a few mins before my legs begin to let me down, but I cannot climb in at all. Due to the hooked handle on this sturdy pole I managed,with relative ease, to hoik my Christmas decorations and the tree which is in five bags itself ,towards the hatch, breaking a 3 year no decorations period. lol. In addition, I was sorting out the items stored in my large ottoman bed base. I could similarly drag things towards me with relative ease out of them. When i came to put back what I was keeping I could push them gently into place with it. Its not for its intended purpose - but I do wonder how I managed without it in recent years. its proved a great help to me. Worth every penny. Its very sturdy. Made of strong wood with very good metal at the end. It has two different ends to the book.It now resides, slotted into the side of my airing cupboard to be easily on hand.
Review: Quality product, quick delivery - Really good quality! The metal hook is really smooth too, so no chance of it scratching my Velux window handle which was something I initially worried about. It's lightweight too which really helps when you're opening something high up! Quick dispatch and arrived before expected! Makes opening the Velux windows easy and looks nice enough to leave out for easy use, unlike some of the more clunky, plastic window openers which I'd want to keep hidden. Great value for money! Only thing I might do for longevity and easier cleaning over time is put a clear varnish over the wooden handle.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ido not use it for opening windows or the loft

I bought this to open the loft without thinking it through. It doesn't work on my type of loft hatch. However, as I am disabled its proved invaluable in other ways. I can just about stand on my loft ladder these days for a few mins before my legs begin to let me down, but I cannot climb in at all. Due to the hooked handle on this sturdy pole I managed,with relative ease, to hoik my Christmas decorations and the tree which is in five bags itself ,towards the hatch, breaking a 3 year no decorations period. lol. In addition, I was sorting out the items stored in my large ottoman bed base. I could similarly drag things towards me with relative ease out of them. When i came to put back what I was keeping I could push them gently into place with it. Its not for its intended purpose - but I do wonder how I managed without it in recent years. its proved a great help to me. Worth every penny. Its very sturdy. Made of strong wood with very good metal at the end. It has two different ends to the book.It now resides, slotted into the side of my airing cupboard to be easily on hand.

Really good quality! The metal hook is really smooth too, so no chance of it scratching my Velux window handle which was something I initially worried about. It's lightweight too which really helps when you're opening something high up! Quick dispatch and arrived before expected! Makes opening the Velux windows easy and looks nice enough to leave out for easy use, unlike some of the more clunky, plastic window openers which I'd want to keep hidden. Great value for money! Only thing I might do for longevity and easier cleaning over time is put a clear varnish over the wooden handle.

Works very well for a standard cross-shaped catch on a loft hatch with a pull down ladder. Good length and sturdy. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it could have been sanded with a finer paper. Whilst I haven't yet, I have read that some reviewers got a splinter from the handle. It's not a rough, un-sanded handle by any means, but it could have had a better sanding. Definitely worth the money and easy to give quick sand over with a fine paper.
