Developed in collaboration with Metallica’s James Hetfield, this set of six picks in a collectible tin is engineered for professional-level control and speed. ## Description As one of the greatest riff masters of all time, James Hetfield needs gear that performs as monstrously as he does—picks included. When he came to Dunlop looking for a pick to meet his high standards, we worked closely with him to create a solution that keeps up with and even enhances his performance. We used the Flow Standard Pick 1. 0mm as our starting point. The thrash titan put it through a full battery of tests on the road and came back to us with the tweaks and adjustments he needed to make it just right. First, we incorporated the Black Fang Pick's blended beveled edges for a super snappy attack that rings out with bright articulation, ensuring that every note and chord makes an impact through all that speed and gain. Next, we made it a bit heavier, going to 1. 14mm—not normally available in the standard Flow Pick line—for the perfect balance between mass and articulation. Lastly, we enhanced the grip, creating a custom pattern so that the pick stays put when Hetfield digs in. “The White Fang Pick has amazing grip when sweating from heavy riffing, and a smaller profile to go faster, ” he says. “Plus, the white is easier to see when they get thrown into the crowd. ” ## Features - Combines the specially engineered shape of Flow Picks with Hetfield’s Black Fang Pick - Small profile and low profile grip provide superior control - Blended beveled edge allows pick to glide across strings - Wide angle and sharp tip focus attack - Pick Tin includes 6 picks ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0845TNRNM | | Best Sellers Rank | #20,377 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #490 in Picks | | Body Material Type | Tin | | Brand Name | Jim Dunlop | | Colour | White,Black | | Compatible Devices | Guitar | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (597) | | Finish Type | Polished | | Guitar Pick Thickness | 1mm | | Included Components | 6 guitar picks | | Item Dimensions | 8.9 x 3.8 x 1.3 Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Guitar Pick Tin | | Manufacturer | Dunlop | | Manufacturer Part Number | PH122T100 | | Model Name | Hetfield's White Fang Custom 1.0mm Flow | | Model Number | PH122T100 | | Number Of Items | 6 | | Number Of Pieces | 6 | | Size | 1.0 mm | | Style Name | Pick Tin | | UPC | 710137121157 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jim Dunlop - **Colour:** White,Black - **Guitar Pick Thickness:** 1mm - **Size:** 1.0 mm - **Style:** Pick Tin ## Images ![Dunlop Hetfield's White Fang Custom 1.0mm Flow Guitar Pick Tin (PH122T100) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41jYg1DIu7L.jpg) ![Dunlop Hetfield's White Fang Custom 1.0mm Flow Guitar Pick Tin (PH122T100) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Uw+v5Pt4L.jpg) ![Dunlop Hetfield's White Fang Custom 1.0mm Flow Guitar Pick Tin (PH122T100) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/416-sreYJvL.jpg) ![Dunlop Hetfield's White Fang Custom 1.0mm Flow Guitar Pick Tin (PH122T100) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71f4qHAcT9L.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - Jim Dunlop Hetfield's White Fang Custom 1.0mm Flow Guitar Pick Tin (PH122T100) - Dunlop Kirk Hammett Signature Jazz III (Pack of 6) (47PKH3N) - Dunlop PH112T1.14 Hetfield Black Fang, 1.14mm, 6 Picks/Tin --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/427420801-dunlop-hetfields-white-fang-custom-1-0mm-flow-guitar-pick](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/427420801-dunlop-hetfields-white-fang-custom-1-0mm-flow-guitar-pick) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
